Many schools today are choosing to give their students computers to work on. Though this is a step in the right direction, there are still many options. In fact, one option for these schools is to give their students laptops. Another, better option is tablet PCs. Let’s take a look at why tablets are a great option for schools.

Portability

Students, in general, are not going to sit in one classroom the entire school day. Because of this, having a computer that is portable is a good idea. An Android tablet is going to be much more portable than even a laptop computer. In fact, tablet computers are easily the most portable type of computer there is.

Textbooks

Textbooks get expensive. Having a digital license for textbooks that your students can access through their tablets can save the school a lot of money in the long run. You never have to worry about the book getting drawn on or ripped, either. Along with this, you don’t have to worry about students hurting their backs lugging around a ton of books. Collaboration
